Running Windows 10? You can set up Microsoft Edge to sync your bookmarks, passwords, history, and other settings so you have them across all your devices running Windows 10. Here’s how to do it.
How to Sync Microsoft Edge on Windows 10?
Microsoft Edge offers the option to sync your devices. When you turn on this feature, all your bookmarks, passwords, and history saved in the cloud. Here’s how to do it:
- Open Microsoft Edge web browser and click the three-dot menu icon in the upper right corner.

- Click Settings > Sync > Turn on sync.
Note: If you’re not already signed in to Edge, sign in on this page before clicking Sync.

- Click the toggle button next to Favorites, and then click Confirm to turn it on.
How does sync work in Edge?
When you set up sync, your personal data (website history, favorites, passwords, and autofill information) securely sent to the Microsoft servers. Your synced browsing data is encrypted and securely stored in the cloud for use on any of your devices connected to Microsoft Edge.
For example, when you first use Microsoft Edge on a new computer, sign in with your email address and password from any of your other devices where you have set up sync. You will see that all of your personalized preferences are already there waiting for you. You can also turn sync off at any time from the Settings menu.
