Multifactor authentication with Password
Multi factor authentication (MFA) also known as two factor authentication (2FA) is a second layer of security. This is the authentication for using OTP
- Login to with multifactor authenticationn
- Enter your password. Prompt will ask the additional way of security
- it’s a choice skip or enter OTP generated by app
- Note : it remains only for 30 seconds, its a time based one time password
- Enter it for second security authentication
Multifactor authentication without Password
If you want to use your phone as second layer of security , then follow steps
- Login to with multifactor authentication
- Enter username, it will send notification to your phone
- Authentication can be fingerprint, PIN or face id
- After authentication will be completed you can use your accounts
Multifactor authentication with autofill
Authenticator app can also autofill passwords , follow steps
- Sign-in on the Passwords tab inside the Authenticator app with your personal account to start syncing passwords
- Make Authenticator the default autofill provider and start autofilling passwords on apps and sites you visit on your mobile
- Use with your fingerprint, face ID, or PIN to access and autofill passwords on your mobile
