HP Printer Error E1 – The error code E1 normally comes when the user tries to use with the USB or prints it from the relative phones which pop with the relative paper size mismatch or it prints the screen size even after making necessary changes in the paper size. To fix this error code E1, you have to upgrade the firmware of your device. Resolving the Error E1 is a long and strenuous process. So, you have to strictly follow the stepwise procedure in the given sequence to rectify this Error E1.

Troubleshooting Steps HP Printer Error E1 :-

When your HP printer shows ‘HP printer error e1’ error message, then you can follow the following instructions to sort out the matter. Read the following steps for resolving the HP Printer Error E1:

Solution 1 :

  • First, switch on your HP Printer.
  • Wait and allow your HP printer to get ready.
  • Then disconnect the power cord.
  • Remove the power cord from the wall outlet as well.
  • Wait for some few seconds.
  • Now, plug in the power cord back into the wall outlet.
  • While you wait for the printer to get ready you may hear noises that tell your printer is getting ready. Subtle noises of the carriage moving, or seeing the lights on the printer flashing are some signs.

Solution 2 :

This issue can also happen if the jammed paper in the printer. You can also resolve it by following the steps given below:

  • Lift the scanner cover by lifting the plastic tabs that are present on both the sides into a position.
  • Check the position of the print head if it is not in a right position click on Stop/Cancel button.
  • Unplug your HP printer from the wall outlet and now you can move the print head with your fingers tips.
  • Lift the scanner to release the lock and push it back in to close it.

Solution 3 :

Reset and Delete the Print Jobs

  • First, disconnect all the USB cables between computer and printer.
  • Now you can unplug the connection and turn off your HP Printer.
  • Wait for 5 minutes and plug back all the power cables to the wall outlet.
  • Again turn on the HP printer.
  • Now, reconnect all the USB cables and print a simple but different print job.
  • If it works, then the problem must be with the previous document that you were trying to print.
