Canon Printer error code U052 – Causes

  1. When the printer head is not properly installed.
  2. Improper working of printer head.
  3. Damaged old cartridge.

Ways to Fix Canon Printer Error Code U052-

Canon printer error code U052 while installing the printer head:-

  1. First, remove the print head or top lid of the printer.
  2. When you will open the lid of the printer, cartridge slot will automatically comes in middle or front of the printer.
  3. After that if you want to run the cleaning cycle you have to remove the printer from the power socket.
  4. The printer head disconnects all the ink cartridges from the cartridges slot.
  5. This will remove all the black print with all the inks after that slowly start remove the print head.
  6. You have to pull it and printer head will automatically come out.
  7. After that you have to perform the basic cleaning cycle over the printer head.
  8. Then reinsert the printer head ink cartridge and close the top lid of the printer.

Getting Canon printer error code U052 without installing any printhead:-

  1. Firstly unplug your printer from the switchboard.
  2. After that, open the top lid of the printer.
  3. Then, install the printhead into the sliding rail which is present beside the cartridges slot.
  4. Now, you have to install the cartridges slot and make sure that there is no print head installed.
  5. Now You can switch on the printer.

Fix Canon printer error code U052 Manually :-

  1. Take off the print head and ink cartridges gentally.
  2. After that clean the print head by the use of cotton bud.
  3. Leave them to dry properly.
