Canon Printer Error E56 – Causes

  • Issue with Internet Connection.
  • Internet speed is also an issue of occurrence.
  • Sometimes it happens due to outdated drivers.

Easy Methods to Fix the Error Code E56:

Method 1:

  • You need to connect your PC to the internet and open any updated web browser.
  • Now, go to the Canon drivers page and enter your Canon printer model.
  • You will see the “Download” button click on that so that the downloading will begin.
  • Locate the drivers in the “Downloads” folder.
  • Click on the file to run and install the drivers.
  • Uninstall the outdated drivers before installing the updated ones.

Method 2:

  • Turn off your Canon printer by disconnecting the power cables from the wall outlet.
  • Avoid touching the power cables with wet hands and check the USB cables.
  • Check the router and modem and try to reconnect it to the printer by changing the Wi-Fi name.
